Book Review #12 ~ “Piglet” by Lottie Hazell
I found the book “Piglet” while trying to find audiobooks on Libby about food for my library’s reading challenge. “Piglet” follows a woman, nicknamed Piglet, who works at a cookbook publishing house and is about to get married to the perfect man. But then, a secret is revealed and we watch Piglet spiral in the upcoming weeks to her wedding.
This book felt like such a fever dream. The only thing that I remember liking was the articulate descriptions of the food that Piglet was either making or eating. Other than that, I don’t think there was anything else that stood out about this book. I didn’t connect to the characters at all and the plot seemed unintresting and, again, like a fever dream.
I rated this book 1.5/5 stars and would not recommend this book. “Piglet” is my 79th book of 2025. See you soon xx Autumn
